A warm welcome, Anna!
Anna is from Ukraine and had to flee her homeland after the war began. In Salzburg, she not only found protection and safety but also a supportive environment that helped her restart her life. In no time, Anna learned the German language, resumed her studies at the university, and wholeheartedly volunteers in refugee aid.
And today?
What Anna likes about Salzburg is the friendliness of the people and the beautiful nature, where she spends as much time as possible. However, she initially had to warm up to the Salzburg dialect. We asked her what she likes about Salzburg, whether she has faced any prejudices as a migrant, and what tips she has for newcomers to Salzburg.
