Ball games in parks

Climbing in the city
The most famous local mountains in Salzburg city are called the Mönchsberg and Kapuzinerberg mountains, and you can go climbing on both of them. The climbing route on the Kapuzinerberg is called “City Wall” and is free of charge. It is important that you use a fixed rope set, a helmet and sturdy shoes.
On the Müllner Schanze is a second climbing wall, right next to the workout facility. It is necessary to use a helmet and safety belts.
Climbing in the city is free. Beginners should climb with a professional on the first tour.
Bathing in Salzburg
In Salzburg there are some public baths where you can swim for fun or for sport. Many of the baths belong to the City of Salzburg and offer sports pools, family pools and sunbathing lawns that invite you to relax.
